Best Time to Play

Bali’s tropical climate means outdoor tennis is best enjoyed during the cooler parts of the day. Early mornings (6–9 AM) and late afternoons (4–6 PM) offer the most comfortable temperatures, especially if you’re playing on hard courts that heat up quickly.

Midday play is possible but tends to be very hot and humid, so it’s best avoided unless the venue offers shade or indoor courts. During the wet season (November–March), afternoon showers are common, making morning sessions the safest bet.

What to Prepare

Before hitting the court, make sure you’re equipped for Bali’s warm, humid conditions. Bring sunscreen, plenty of water, and a small towel to stay comfortable during your session. Tennis shoes with good grip are highly recommended, as some courts can get slick from humidity. If you sweat easily, pack an extra shirt, and consider bringing a hat or sweatband for long rallies.
